New Zealand Aerobatic Club National Competitions
March 15th - 17th 2012

This is the premium event of the Aerobat’s calendar. We fly over five categories, Primary, Sports, Intermediate, Advanced and Unlimited. The competition is open to everyone (financial NZAC members, that is) who can turn an aircraft upside down and want to fly for fun. Winning is an optional extra. The sequences we will be flying are identical to those flown in IAC US competitions in 2011. The web site to find these sequences is http://www.iac.org Just make sure you look at the 2011 sequences.
The Entry Form will be available soon. If you are flying Intermediate, Advanced or Unlimited (optional for Sports) you will also need to plan your freestyle. You may also submit two suggested Unknown manoeuvres for your category; centre box and turn-around.

Although the competition officially starts 15th March, you will find members down there from 12th March practising and helping set out box markers etc. We clean up and head for home on Sunday 18th.
